Tá an Dioplóma Iarchéime san Aistriúchán dírithe orthu siúd a bhfuil caighdeán maith Gaeilge acu cheana féin ach ar mhaith leo scileanna aistriúcháin a fhoghlaim nó cur lena scileanna sa réimse sin. Tá sé oiriúnach chomh maith do dhaoine a bhíonn ag obair trí Ghaeilge go laethúil – múinteoirí agus iriseoirí, mar shampla – ar mian leo barr feabhais a chur ar a gcuid scileanna scríofa sa teanga.
The Dioplóma Iarchéime san Aistriúchán programme is aimed at those who already have a good standard of Irish, but who wish to learn translation skills or to enhance the skills they already have. It is also ideal for those who work through Irish on a daily basis – teachers and journalists, for example – who wish to improve their standard of writing in the language.

Dírítear ar theanga úsáideach laethúil, an cineál teanga a úsáideann na hoiliúnaithe ina gcuid oibre san áireamh, agus tugtar deis do na foghlaimeoirí páirt ghníomhach a ghlacadh i ngach rang. Úsáideann na múinteoirí cur chuige cumarsáideach agus bíonn béim láidir ar obair bheirte agus ghrúpa, ar ghníomhaíochtaí rólghlactha agus ar chluichí teanga.
All courses delivered by Gaelchultúr are learner-centred and the emphasis is on the learners and their needs. The focus is on relevant, everyday language, including the type of language used by the trainees in their work, and the learners are actively involved in each class. Trainers use a communicative approach to teaching and there is a strong emphasis on group and pair work, on role-play activities and language games, as we believe that the learning of Irish should be fun and rewarding, rather than a chore.
