Des représentants de la Direction du développement et de la coopération DDC, du Secrétariat d’Etat à l’économie SECO et du Bureau de l’intégration DFAE/DFE ont dressé aujourd’hui à l’intention de la Commission européenne un état des lieux de la mise en œuvre de la contribution suisse à l’élargissement, du processus de sélection des projets et des prochaines mesures prévues.

Representatives of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), and the Integration Office of the FDFA/FDEA informed the European Commission today on the implementation status of the Enlargement Contribution, the project selection procedure, and the outlook for the future. By the end of March 2010, 61 project proposals, representing an amount of CHF 346 million, and 51 definitive project applications, for an amount of CHF 235 million, had been approved as beneficiaries of Swiss support within the scope of the Enlargement Contribution in Central and Eastern Europe. In other words, a total amount of CHF 581 million, i.e., 61% of the budget for projects in the ten new Member State, has been either provisionally earmarked or definitively approved. From the Swiss point of view, the implementation of the Enlargement Contribution is unfolding in an overall satisfactory manner and can in all likelihood be concluded according to plan. Numerous positive reactions from the partner States bear witness to the fact that this cooperation with Switzerland is well appreciated.

Vertreter der Direktion für Entwicklung und Zusammenarbeit DEZA, des Staatssekretariats für Wirtschaft SECO sowie des Integrationsbüros EDA/EVD haben die EU-Kommission heute über den Stand der Umsetzung, die Auswahlverfahren sowie künftige Schritte informiert. Bis Ende März 2010 wurden 61 Projektvorschläge für 346 Millionen Franken und 51 definitive Projektgesuche für 235 Millionen Franken gutgeheissen, die die Schweiz im Rahmen des Erweiterungsbeitrags in Mittel- und Osteuropa unterstützt. Das heisst, insgesamt wurden Projekte für einen Betrag von 581 Millionen Franken bzw. 61% des Projektbudgets für die EU-10 provisorisch eingestellt oder definitiv bewilligt. Aus Sicht der Schweiz verläuft die Umsetzung des Beitrags insgesamt zufriedenstellend und kann voraussichtlich wie geplant abgeschlossen werden. Zahlreiche positive Rückmeldungen aus den Partnerstaaten bezeugen, dass die Zusammenarbeit geschätzt wird.

Rappresentanti della Direzione dello sviluppo e della cooperazione DSC, della Segreteria di Stato dell’economia SECO e dell’Ufficio dell’integrazione DFAE/DFE hanno informato oggi la Commissione europea sullo stato di attuazione, sulle procedure di selezione e sulle tappe successive dei progetti sostenuti dalla Svizzera nel quadro del contributo all’allargamento in favore degli Stati dell’Europa centrale e dell’Europa dell’Est. Fino a fine marzo 2010, la Svizzera ha approvato 61 proposte di progetti per un ammontare pari a 346 milioni di franchi e 51 domande definitive per un importo pari a 235 milioni di franchi; in altre parole, ha promosso progetti in via provvisoria o definitiva per un ammontare pari a 581 milioni di franchi, ossia al 61 per cento dello stanziamento complessivo a favore dei nuovi Stati UE-10. Secondo la Svizzera, l’attuazione del contributo all’allargamento è complessivamente soddisfacente e i progetti potranno essere conclusi entro i termini previsti. La vasta eco positiva suscitata nei Paesi partner testimonia la considerazione che questi ultimi nutrono nei confronti di questa cooperazione.
