En ce qui concerne l’aide à la transition, la Suisse apporte depuis 1994 déjà un soutien au Kirghizistan – premier pays bénéficiaire en Asie centrale, qui est devenue l’une des régions prioritaires de la coopération suisse au développement. En 1995, un bureau de liaison de la DDC a été ouvert à Bichkek.

In the area of transition assistance Switzerland has been supporting Kyrgyzstan since 1994 as one of the first countries in Central Asia to receive Swiss transition support. Central Asia has subsequently become one of the priority regions for Swiss development cooperation. In 1995, an SDC liaison office was opened in Bishkek. At present, in Kyrgyzstan the SDC and SECO are focusing primarily on the areas of healthcare reform, infrastructure, improving the administration of public finances, development of the private sector and water management. In 2011 the Swiss commitment to Kyrgyzstan amounted to CHF 19.8 million (incl. contributions from the cantons and municipalities).

Im Bereich der Transitionshilfe unterstützt die Schweiz Kirgisistan bereits seit 1994 – als erstes Land in Zentralasien, das seither zu einer der Schwerpunktregionen der schweizerischen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit geworden ist. 1995 wurde in Bischkek ein Verbindungsbüro der DEZA eröffnet. Gegenwärtig engagieren sich die DEZA und das SECO in Kirgisistan vorwiegend in den Bereichen Gesundheitsreform, Infrastruktur, Verbesserung der Verwaltung der öffentlichen Finanzen, Entwicklung des Privatsektors und Wassermanagement. 2011 belief sich das Volumen der Schweizer Engagements für Kirgisistan auf 19.8 Mio. CHF (inkl. Beiträge von Kantonen und Gemeinden).

Nell'ambito dell'aiuto alla transizione, la Svizzera sostiene il Kirghizistan già dal 1994 (come primo Paese in Asia centrale divenuta da allora una delle regioni prioritarie della cooperazione svizzera allo sviluppo). Nel 1995 è stato aperto a Bischkek un ufficio di collegamento della DSC. La DSC e la SECO s'impegnano attualmente in Kirghizistan in particolare nei settori della riforma sanitaria, dell'infrastruttura, del miglioramento dell'amministrazione delle finanze pubbliche, dello sviluppo del settore privato e della gestione idrica. Nel 2011 l'impegno svizzero per il Kirghizistan ammontava a 19,8 milioni di franchi (compr. i contributi dei Cantoni e dei comuni).
