The key technologies contained within the Cinema EOS System were then explained in a technical presentation by the Business Development Manager for Professional Video, Canon Europe, Middle East and Africa, Peter Yabsley, before the French filmmaker Sébastien Devaud took to the stage to screen his three-minute film ‘Out of Tunes’, that was shot with the Cinemas EOS System. Devaud told the audience that the C300 was “a storyteller’s camera” that provided brilliant results in all conditions, and he also identified other key benefits that he discovered when shooting with the Cinema EOS System. These benefits included working natively in an MXF workflow environment, the use of slow shutter for special effects, and the shooting flexibility that the system offers thanks to its compatibility with Canon’s EF lens range, including fisheye, macro, and tilt and shift lenses.
