The MVV 1296-VOX has two stages to gain enough amplification for longer feed lines, also. The input stage is equipped with a low-noise microwave GaAs FET, the second stage uses a microwave IC (MMIC). The amplification is continuously adjustable, which helps to adjust to particular cable lengths.

Le MVV 1296-VOX dispose de deux étages d'amplification offrant suffisamment de gain pour compenser les pertes dans les longues lignes de transmission. L'étage d'entrée fait appel à un GaAs FET faible bruit, le second est un circuit intégré SHF MMIC. Le gain est ajustable en continu, ce qui permet une adaptation à toutes les longueurs de coax. Un circuit de filtrage 'strip-line' triple effectue la présélection du signal.
