It is still possible to be exempt from using the statement "manufactured using genetically modified X" if the active substance or excipient concerned contains a fraction of this active substance / excipient from GMO equal to or less than 0.9%, and if it can be proved that appropriate measures are taken to prevent the presence of such a material (in accordance with Art. 7, para. 7, letters a and b, VGVL).

Si tel est le cas, il est nécessaire d'indiquer pour chaque substance issue d'OGM s'il est possible de renoncer à l'étiquetage obligatoire pour l'une des deux raisons précitées (selon l'art. 7, al. 7bis, let. a, b et c ODAIGM ou l'art. 7, al. 7, let. a et b ODAIGM). S'il n'est pas possible d'y renoncer, les projets de textes sur le médicament et les éléments d'emballage, incluant l'indication correspondante sur l'origine OGM du principe actif ou de l'excipient, doivent être remis à Swissmedic avec le formulaire dûment rempli ;

Ist dies der Fall, ist für jeden aus GVO gewonnenen Stoff anzugeben, ob die GVO-Kennzeichnungspflicht aus einem der zwei oben genannten Gründen (gemäss Art. 7 Abs. 7bis Bst. a, b und c VGVL bzw. Art. 7 Abs. 7 Bst. a und b VGVL) entfällt. Ist ein Wirk- oder Hilfsstoff kennzeichnungspflichtig, müssen die Entwürfe der mit der erforderlichen GVO-Kennzeichnung ergänzten Arzneimitteltexte sowie Packmaterialien mit dem Formular eingereicht werden.
