El projecte respecta els elements constructius interessants i, evitant tant la confrontació com la mimesi, fa plantejaments actuals, de forma lliure i sense complexos. Incorpora rastres, memòria, context: el pòsit que fa sentir el goig d'actualitzar-se coherentment, conciliant el vell i el nou a partir d'una reducció minuciosa.

Apartment/workshop in a listed Modernist building located in the district of the Raval of Barcelona with hydraulic mosaics, ceiling mouldings and panels featuring plant designs. The inclination of the owner -an artist- has given priority to the workshop areas, which are found in the preferred areas, while the dwelling takes up the central part of the building, away from the street. The project respects the interesting constructive elements of the building and takes a modern approach, a free form without complexes, yet avoiding confrontation and mimesis. It incorporates the building's traces, memory, context, remnants that bring the joy of modernising it with consistency, reconciling old and new with a detailed reduction.

Vivienda-taller en un edificio modernista catalogado, situado en el barrio del Raval de Barcelona, provisto de mosaicos hidráulicos, molduras y plafones en el techo de temática vegetal. El programa de la propietaria -una artista plástica- da prioridad a las zonas dedicadas a taller, que ocupan los lugares preferentes, mientras, la vivienda, ocupa la parte central, la más interior. El proyecto respeta los elementos constructivos interesantes y, evitando tanto la confrontación como la mimesis, hace planteamientos actuales, libre y sin complejos. Incorpora rastros, memoria, contexto: el poso que hace sentir el gozo de actualizarse coherentemente, conciliando lo viejo y lo nuevo a partir de una minuciosa reducción.
