After successfully graduating from the ADMS programme and the completion of the In-Company Assignment you receive the certified diploma. You are entitled to bear the academic title of Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng) behind your name. Every ADMS-alumnus will be registered as a Technological Designer in the Dutch register that is kept by the Royal Institute of Engineers KIVI NIRIA. The quality of the programmes will be guaranteed by a review and certification procedure performed by the CCTO, the Dutch Certification Committee for Technological Design Programmes.

In the second year the designers carry out a design assignment in-company. Their prior engineering education and the supplementary design schooling puts them in an excellent position to take on this assignment in consultation with the client. University experts act as supervisors, bringing in state-of-the-art technology, advising on the structure and execution of the project and monitoring that the goals of the project are sufficiently realized. Once the assignment has been completed, it is assessed by an independent committee of university experts. A positive assessment leads to the award of the degree Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng).
