Im Sommer ist sie übrigens Austragungsort diverser kultureller Veranstaltungen. Am Übergang zur Gemeinde Nals, wo die Straße nach Prissian und Tisens hinauf führt, liegt die Stachelburg und etwas höher die Nalserbachkapelle, auch Hl.

Above Schernag the rivers Rio di Grissiano and Rio di Tesimo join to form the Rio di Nalles. A worthwhile excursion destination you can reach from Schernag is Casatsch Castle, also called Pfeffersburg. Its name comes from the homonymous hill on which it was built in the 12th century. In summer it is by the way venue for several cultural events. On the edge of Nalles, where the road leads up to Tesimo and Prissiano, there is Stachelburg Castle and slightly above the Chapel of the Holy Cross (Nalserbachkapelle), idyllically surrounded by vineyards and fruit orchards.

Sopra Schernag, i torrenti Rio di Grissiano e Rio di Tesimo confluiscono uno dentro l’altro, formando così il Rio di Nalles. Da non perdere è Castel Casatsch, ovvero Pfeffersburg. Il suo nome deriva dall’omonima collina in cima alla quale si erge il castello che risale al XII secolo. D’estate Castel Casatsch è spesso teatro per diverse manifestazioni culturali. Ai margini di Nalles, dove la strada porta a Tesimo e Prissiano, si trova Castel Stachelburg e poco sopra anche la Cappella di Santa Croce, immersa tra vigneti e frutteti.
