Except of the decorated façade with paintings illustrating Saint Martin, Saint George and Mother of God, there are no other indications reminding on the original purpose. After the death of Benedikt Auer, one of the most well known fresco painters of the valley, in 1845, the school has definitely been closed. Today the “Painter’s House” is a listed building, the frescos can be admired on the exterior walls of the building. A walk leads along the village road in San Martino in Passiria via the Malerweg road to the “Malerhaus”. The mentioned “Turmhaus” and “Hohe Haus” can be admired in the village centre.

Oltre agli affreschi di San Martino, San Giorgio e della Madonna Incoronata sulla facciata non c’é niente che ricordi che un tempo l’edificio ospitasse la scuola pittorica. Dopo la morte di Benedikt Auer, uno dei più famosi pittori di affreschi della valle, la scuola venne definitivamente chiusa nel 1845. Oggi la “Casa dei Pittori” è sotto tutela artistica, è possibile ammirare gli affreschi sulla sua facciata esterna. Una passeggiata porta dalle strade del paese di San Martino in Passiria fino alla “Casa dei Pittori”, inoltre nel paese è possibile ammirare anche la casa “Turmhaus” e l’edificio “Hohes Haus”.

L’altare all’interno della cappella fu costruito nel 1660 ed è ornamentato da un dipinto che raffigura S. Blasio tra S. Valentino e S. Erasmo. Aquile e lo stemma degli Trapp decorano le sedie. Inoltre si possono anche ammirare alcune reliquie preziose come un calice in argento risalente al XIII secolo.
