Milda’s background in cultural history, ethnicity and migration has prompted her current research on highly-qualified migrants, and the impact of communication challenges and organizational context on their processes of acculturation. She is involved in an interdisciplinary project on the subject in collaboration with Dr. Aida Hajro at Brunel University London and Dr. Günter Stahl at the IIB, WU. Milda’s other area of research focuses on present-day discourses of (ir)responsible leadership; her ongoing study in this field, also in collaboration with Dr. Stahl, offers a critical engagement with dispositional explanations of managerial misconduct, such as the Corporate Psychopaths Theory and the theory of The Dark Triad.
