Oui, je pense qu'il y a unanimité là-dessus. Certains, qui s'occupent d'exportations, ont par exemple dit que DEC fait un très bon travail, mais ce service ne vise pas les SME. Ce service ne vise pas les PME.

Yes, I think there is uniform unanimity on that. Some people involved in exporting have said, for example, that EDC does a very good job, but it is not geared towards the SMEs. That may be something the committee may want to look into, in terms of the financial and program support for the SMEs that EDC might give to the larger companies.

The principal objective of the committee's review is to reach a consensus recommendation on intent.  (A consensus exists when all members of the committee are prepared to support a recommendation.)  Where it becomes apparent to the chairperson of the committee that there are conflicting perspectives and that no consensus can be reached, he/she advises the Executive Committee through the General Secretary that the committee has reached an impasse on the grievance.  In such cases, the report of the chairperson should summarize the different views of committee members on the case for the information of the Executive Committee.

Les actes valides du conseil comme tels sont ceux de la municipalité et non ceux de ses membres personnellement. Les conseillers ne peuvent pas rendre une décision exécutoire à l’encontre de la municipalité par leur consentement personnel, exprimé individuellement, même s’il y a unanimité à ce sujet.
