Günümüzde modacı diye bir meslek ortaya çıktığını ancak”ci”li, “cı”lı mesleklerin gerçekte var olmadığını söyleyen Şansal, “Modacı diye bir meslek olmaz. Siz hiç doktorcu, manavcı, kasapçı, mühendisçi diye bir şey duydunuz mu? Modacı yoktur, terzi vardır. Ben terzi yamağıyım. Yaptığım meslek de terzilik. Modacı değilim. Elimden başka bir iş gelmez. Başka ne olabilirdim diye hiç düşünmedim. Hayatımda keşkelerim, amalarım olmadı hiç. İlk aldığım karar hep doğruydu, bir şeyi iki kere düşünmedim. Hayatımda pişmanlığım hiç olmadı. Siz de hayatınızda pişman olacağınız kararlar almayın. Ne olmak istiyorsanız onu olun” diye konuştu.

There is tailor. I am a tailor apprentice. What I do is tailoring. I am not a fashion designer. I cannot do anything else. I have never thought of having another job. I never said, “if only...” or “but...”. The first decision I made was always true. I never think anything twice. I do not regret. Do not take decisions that you will regret at the end. Be what you want to be.”
