Společnosti DHL Supply Chain, přední poskytovatel logistických služeb, a developer Panattoni Europe podelsali smlouvu na výstavbu nového distribučního centra o velikosti 13 600 m2 v Panattoni Parku Cheb. Nová průmyslová stavba vzniká díky pětileté smlouvě na logistické služby uzavřené mezi DHL Supply Chain a Sky Deutschland Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG. Na Chebsku tak vznikne 200 nových pracovních míst.

In dem neuen Logistikzentrum laufen sämtliche Materialien und Vorprodukte verschiedener Lieferanten zusammen. „Wir übernehmen die Kommissionierung der angelieferten Teile, den Werkstransport mit eigenen Lkw sowie die Verteilung der Materialien an den Verbauort im Siemens-Werk“, erläutert Christian Dieckhöfer, Geschäftsführer der BLG Industrielogistik GmbH & Co. KG. Er führt weiter aus: „Bereits seit April 2017 wickelt das Team am Standort Falkensee die Inboundlogistik für den Fertigungsstandort von Gasturbinen ab, bis dato in einem vorgeschalteten Konsolidierungszentrum im Werk selbst.“ Für Siemens ist BLG LOGISTICS seit dem Jahr 2000 tätig und erbringt mittlerweile an unterschiedlichen Standorten Dienstleistungen für die verschiedenen Divisionen des Kunden.
