But because of the weak memory of the professor, he forgets the mouse, and the mouse goes out into the street. All the adventures begin after that".

It aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development, and to increase awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life. Head of the Department noted that the subject of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities for 2018 was selected as "Strengthening of persons with disabilities, their inclusion and equality".

The memories describe Fakhraddin Gurbanli's short but meaningful way of life. It was mentioned that he gained love and respect of his teachers and group-mates, was disciplined and responsible student along with being well-educated in his studies, actively involved in the social life of the university. He became a role model for the youth by sacrificing his life to save his homeland and is now proudly honored by Azerbaijani people. Note that he is the first martyr in Azerbaijan who passed into history as a social worker.

The next guest of the traditional personal development lectures of Azerbaijan University was Doctor of Law, Professor Aydin Gasimov. In the lecture with the title of “Rehabilitation and reintegration of persons released from prisons”, rich in historical information, the speaker spoke about the history and the widespread types of death sentence, as well as the current state of the application of the death penalty in the world, the reduction of the criminality dynamics, the abolition of the death penalty in the world and including our country, humanization of the penal policy and the progressive experience of the world, including establishment of the probation service. The speaker also noted the work to be done in this area, recalling national leader Heydar Aliyev’s slogan “a prisoner back into society must be morally and physically healthy”.

Participants who pass to the II stage will present their scientific works before the commission. Each participant is given 20 minutes. The submitted works will be evaluated by the commission according to the relevance and innovation of the work; authenticity of research approach; depth and innovation of research conducted; relevance and justification of the results obtained; theoretical and practical significance of the work done; development of presentations, use of interactive materials during speech, the development of presentation and its introduction to the audience. Certificates will be issued to all participants and the final selection decision will be announced on March 15, 2018. The ceremony of awarding the winners will be held at the Azerbaijan University on the same day.
