The study of Azerbaijan language and literature are presented in the context of all-Turkish culture and world literature. It gives an opportunity to the graduates of Azerbaijan University to present Azerbaijan literature and culture in the universal context. Furthermore, philologist can work as a Turkologist and in the field of Azerbaijan studies, besides working as a researcher in his/her field in the future. For these purposes, besides the subjects considered in the curriculum, the seminar (related to the different fields of humanitarian sciences) considered for the teachers and master students of the department has an essential role for the organization of the teaching process and the development of the curriculum.
