Mr. Edmond Panariti: The immutable objective of the MFA and my own is the intensification, at the beginning of this year, of the lobbying conducted by us for the new recognitions of Kosovo, in coordination with the Kosovo government. Currently we are working to increase the map of new recognitions for Kosovo. We are mainly focused on the Middle East countries. I have had contacts with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia, and I have asked for Tunisia to recognize Kosovo's independence as soon as possible. We are working hard to achieve this goal. We are working with the Lebanese authorities to recognize Kosovo. Let me remind you that at the end of last year, during the contacts I had with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, I directly asked her to influence on the Israeli authorities for the recognition of Kosovo. Therefore, I will not miss any single occasion to seek the recognition of Kosovo by those States which have not yet done so. This is the common goal of the Government of Albania and the Government of Kosovo, to reach 100 recognitions at the beginning of the year and then to continue with new recognitions, and also with Kosovo's application for the observer status at the UN, and then, with the achievement of 2/3 of UN recognitions, to aim at the full membership in this organization.

At the meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Ranko Krivokapiç they stressed the importance of parliamentary diplomacy and underlined that now there are mechanisms in order for this cooperation to be more complete.
