Every year at the end of July, Laas in Vinschgau valley commemorates two characteristic products of its economy: marble and ‘Marillen’-type apricots, both fruits of the soil, though very different. They are the focus of celebrations and visitors can find out about them in various ways. Als einzige Stadt im Vinschgau beeindruckt Glurns mit einer neuartigen Interpretation von Stadtgefühl und versprüht ihren kulturellen Hauch auch auf die umliegenden Orte: Etwa auf den Benediktinerstift Marienberg, wo regelmäßig Veranstaltungen und Konzerte stattfinden, oder über die beeindruckende Architektur der Churburg in Schluderns. Und wer sich auf die kulturellen Spuren des Vinschgaus begibt, wird früher oder später auf den Marmor stoßen. Die Schmalspurbahn in Laas zeugt vom Transport des Laaser Marmors hinunter ins Tal.

Klassische Schlosskonzerte und sommerliche Abendveranstaltungen wissen zu begeistern – für die Kleinen bleiben das Highlight aber ganz klar die Südtiroler Ritterspiele, bei denen man sich plötzlich in einer längst vergangenen Zeit befindet … Besinnlich wird's indes zur Weihnachtszeit: Der traditionelle Glurnser Advent steht unter dem Motto „Licht, Duft, Klänge“ und in Schlanders wird das Handwerk ins Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit gestellt.

L'albicocca, il dolce gioiello della Val Venosta, viene celebrata durante il festival “Marmo e albicocche“ di Lasa, un evento annuale che ha luogo in agosto.
