The Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) has been nominated National Focal Point (NFP), being in charge of implementing the national provisions concerning the export of living modified organisms (LMO) and of coordinating the exchange of information at the international level through the Swiss Biosafety Clearing House (CH-BCH).

L'Office fédéral de l'environnement OFEV a été nommé comme correspondant national (National Focal Point, NFP), chargé de la mise en oeuvre des dispositions nationales concernant l'exportation d'OVM, de la coordination des mesures en matière d'échanges d'information à travers du Nœud Suisse du CEPRB et de la liaison au niveau international dans le cadre de l'application du Protocole.
