Between 0 and 3 dioptres, consists of a weak or moderate hyperopia, also called latent hypermetropia. It can develop in a subject without a family history and does not always require correction. Some hyperopic subjects are not even aware of their condition, especially among people under 35 years of age. A slightly hypermetropic eye is indeed able to adapt at the price of a constant effort. The patients concerned often suffer visual fatigue and headaches without necessarily being aware of their lack of vision. If you have trouble reading and/or watching TV gives you headaches, consider consulting a specialist because you may be hypermetropic and need glasses.
