The City of Mons and the « Gestion Centre-Ville » ASBL joined forces to propose two initiatives in order to improve the quality of services for the non French-speaking visitors. It includes the organisation of language courses for shop keepers and the translation of the menus of HoReCa places in the centre of the city. This action benefited from the co-operation of the Polyac language school for the translation and the courses, and also from the state-funded objectives to facilitate employment.
