Data Physics Corporation hat vor Kurzem ein SignalStar Matrix Multishaker-Schwingregelsystem für den Einsatz bei der Prüfung von Raketen in einem Prüflabor der US-Marine an der US-Westküste installiert. Die Marine nutzt das Matrix Multishaker-Schwingregelsystem in verschiedenen Einzel-und Multi-Shaker-Konfigurationen. Einige Anwendungen verwenden einen einzelnen elektrodynamischen SignalForce-Shaker von Data Physics zusammen mit dem Matrix-Schwingregelsystem, bei anderen kommen zwei elektrodynamische SignalForce-Shaker zur Anwendung, um eine Rakete in einem einzigen Freiheitsgrad zu prüfen. Wieder andere Anwendungen verwenden eine Kombination aus elektrodynamischen und hydraulischen Shakern um Raketen in bis zu sechs Freiheitsgraden zu prüfen. Es gibt sogar eine Anwendung, bei der zwei hydraulische Shakersysteme mit je 6 Freiheitsgraden kombiniert sind, um eine Rakete in ihrem Container zu prüfen, mit definierter linearer oder Rotations-Anregung. Gemeinsam ist all diesen Anwendungen, daß der SignalStar Matrix-Controller die Fähigkeit hat, alle diese verschiedenen Multishaker-Prüfkonfigurationen anzusteuern, um so präzise und genau definierte Bewegung in den spezifizierten Freiheitsgraden zu erzeugen.
