El objeto del bisel es destacar la belleza de la pieza resaltando sus bordes para eliminar las huellas del mecanizado y aumentar el ángulo manualmente con una pequeña lima y un pulidor para suavizarlo, además de una muela abrasiva de madera para pulirlo con objeto de aportarle un ligero brillo a las diferentes superficies, para jugar con la luz y los reflejos brillantes en el corazón del movimiento.
