The former Jesuit College (Horní street no. 154) was built in 1586–1588 on the site of medieval Gothic buildings. An interesting fact related to its construction is that the local glass-maker needed almost 17 thousand glass circles to glaze its 59 windows. After the dissolution of the order in 1773, the college was rebuilt to a barracks. This caused the destruction of the original suspension bridge and the chapel, which was divided into smaller rooms. Today, the building houses the four-star boutique hotel Růže. Dating back to the late 14th century, the building of the Prelature of Český Krumlov (Horní street no. 155) is one of the oldest houses in the town as well as one of the most complex in terms of architecture. It is connected with one of the most famous Jesuits in the Czech lands – Bohuslav Balbín. The Prelature also included a brewery. Its operation caused frequent fires, which had a significant impact on the house’s appearance. The Parish Priest’s House (Horní Street no. 159) can be distinguished by its Gothic-Renaissance cross-windows with stone jambs on both facades. On the first floor of the house there is a well-preserved original “black” kitchen. Together with the castle and the chateau, the historic centre of Český Krumlov is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

L’ancien Collège jésuite (Horní ulice 154) fut construit entre 1586 et 1588 à l’emplacement des constructions gothiques médiévales d’origine. Pour vitrer les 59 fenêtres, le maître verrier eut à l’époque besoin de près de 17 000 pièces de verre. Après la disparition de la Compagnie de Jésus en 1773, le collège fur transformé en caserne, avec à la clé aussi la suppression du pont suspendu d’origine et de la chapelle, divisée en petites pièces. Aujourd’hui, l’endroit est occupé par l’hôtel 4 étoiles Hotel Růže. Le bâtiment de la prélature de Český Krumlov (Horní ulice 155) est l’une des plus anciennes maisons de la ville (son apparition est datée de la seconde moitié du 14e siècle) et l’une des plus complexes en termes d’architecture. Elle aussi est associée au nom de l’un des Jésuites les plus connus des Pays tchèques, Bohuslav Balbín. La prélature comprenait une brasserie, dont l’activité entraîna de nombreux incendies avec un impact marqué sur l’architecture du bâtiment. La résidence du vicaire (Horní ulice 159) se distingue par ses fenêtres de granite en croix, de style gothique-Renaissance, et des lambris de pierre sur les deux façades. Au premier étage de la résidence, la cuisine noire d’origine a été conservée. Le centre historique de Český Krumlov, avec le château, est inscrit sur la liste du patrimoine culturel mondial de l’Unesco.

Dawne kolegium jezuitów (ulica Horní 154) powstało w latach 1586–1588 w miejscu dawnych średniowiecznych gotyckich obiektów. Co ciekawe, do zaszklenia 59 okien miejscowy szklarz musiał zużyć wówczas blisko 17 tys. szklanych dysków. Kiedy w 1773 roku zlikwidowano zakon jezuitów, kolegium przebudowano na koszary. Spowodowało to zanik dawnego mostu wiszącego i domowej kaplicy, która została podzielona na mniejsze pomieszczenia. Dziś mieści się tu czterogwiazdkowy butikowy Hotel Růže. Budynek Prałatury w Českim Krumlovie (ulica Horní 155) należy nie tylko do najstarszych obiektów w mieście (powstał w drugiej połowie XIV wieku), ale również do najbardziej skomplikowanych pod względem budowlanym. Wiąże się z nim również imię jednego z najbardziej znanych jezuitów na czeskich ziemiach – Bohuslava Balbína. Do prałatury należał m.in. browar, którego działalność spowodowała wiele pożarów, a te w istotny sposób wpłynęły na kształt architektoniczny domu. Kaplankę (Wikariat) (ulica Horní 159) cechują gotycko-renesansowe granitowe okna z kamiennymi obramieniami na obu fasadach. Na pierwszym piętrze znajduje się zachowana dawna ciemna kuchnia. Centrum historyczne Českiego Krumlova wraz z zamkiem i pałacem należy do światowego dziedzictwa kulturowego UNESCO.
