Zwei der Maßnahmen, die vom PTEOR vorgeschlagen werden, um die Menge der anfallenden Abfälle zu reduzieren, sind die Anlage von Komposthaufen durch Bewohner von Einfamilienhäusern und die Förderung der Wiederverwendung voluminöser Reststoffe sowie das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten durch soziale Einrichtungen.

El autocompostaje en viviendas unifamiliares y el fomento de la reutilización de residuos voluminosos (RV) y residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos (RAEE) a través de entidades de economía social, son dos de las medidas planteadas por el PTEOR para reducir la cantidad de residuos generados.
