This model is the classic sport jacket. A two button blazer with two rear vents, unlined (only on the sleeves) and two elbow patched. The Prince of Wales designation stems from the fact this pattern was made popular by Edward VIII of England before he was crowned king. This type of blazer is particularly interesting because, besides being extremely light and comfortable (we're talking about a 50% silk 50% linen sport jacket), it bestows on the wearer a certain something. Something I can’t quite put my finger on. But assuredly that something extra that it behoves us to reflect in our clothing when we are introduced to our girlfriend’s parents, when we go out at night in a city unknown to us or we do not wish to abuse the freedom given to us in a casual friday
