Od začátku roku 1996 je předsedou ústavu mladý a renomovaný politolog Dr. Petr Fiala, vedoucí katedry politologie fakulty sociálních věd Masarykovy University. Partnerská organizace se zaměřuje na oblast akademického a veřejného vzdělávání, zvláště se zaměřením na integraci České republiky do Evropské unie.

Agora Central Europe (hereafter referred to as Agora CE) is a Czech non-profit organisation founded in 1998 with the aim of helping to enhance communication between local governments, central government bodies and citizens. The founding of Agora CE was assisted by two the Dutch sister companies. Agora Central Europe’s general mission is to support democratic processes with the following objectives: 1.) Enhance communication and co-operation between citizens and municipal offices, 2.) Expand the possibilities of municipal offices to plan and make decisions and to involve citizens in these processes, 3.) Generate interest of citizens in community issues, 4.) Back the development of local democracy and assist in enhancing the political culture in the Czech Republic.

Angora Central Europe (Agora CE) ist eine gemeinnützige tschechische Organisation. Sie wurde 1998 mit dem Ziel gegründet, die Kommunikation zwischen Kommunalverwaltung, Behörden und Bürgern nachhaltig zu verbessern. Die Gründung von Agora CE wurde durch ihre zwei niederländischen Schwestergesellschaften unterstüzt. Die Hauptaufgaben von Agora Central Europe sind 1.) die Verbesserung der Kommunikation und Kooperation zwischen Bürgern und Kommunalverwaltung, 2.) die Verbesserung der Planungs- und Entscheidungsprozesse auf kommunaler Ebene, auch im Hinblick auf eine stärkere Beteiligung der Bürger an diesen Prozessen, 3.) die Stärkung des Interesses der Bürger an Lokalpolitik und 4.) Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung und Verbesserung der Mitgestaltungsmöglichkeiten und der politischen Kultur in der Tschechischen Republik.
