Blink is een groep van vier Scandinavische jonge dames, die voor het eerst naar België komen. Hun composities, arrangementen, spel en stemmen hebben sinds hun prille begin in september 2009, al vele gevoelige snaren geraakt bij een enthousiast publiek over heel Europa.

With blood, sweat, tears and above all love they explore the bare naked ensemble playing of two strings and two voices, taking Nordic contemporary folk to unheard universes. Blink´s mixture of traditional music from the North/Baltics and their own compositions blends together naturally in a sound oozing of surprisingly groovy power. With a stage performance radiating of feeling and humour they evoke both laughing, crying and dancing amongst their listeners. Young but experienced world travelling artists, these four women together travel the North and are aiming at the stars.

Le groupe Blink, composé de quatre jeunes dames scandinaves qui viennent de cinq pays du Nord, viendra nous surprendre – pour la première fois en Belgique – avec leur mélange de musiques traditionnelles et de compositions personnelles. Dès leurs premiers concerts, en septembre 2009, elles ont conquis un public charmé par la combinaison des sons de leurs instruments à cordes et les harmonies de leurs voix et par leur musique typiquement “Nordic contemporary folk”.
