Karaman, “La Fontaine de eserlerini oluştururken 6 ve 16 yaşındaki taht varislerine kitaplarını ithaf etmiş. Böylece La Fontaine’nin kitapları, çocuklar için yazılmış olarak algılanmış. La Fontaine masallarında hayvanlara ahlaki karakterler vererek onların nezdinde bazı insan karakterlerini tenkit etme yoluna giderek, ahlaki ders veriyor. Bu derslerin günümüz gençliği açısından algılanması, gelecek yıllarımızın şekillenmesi açısından büyük önem taşıyor. Bu sebeple ben de hedef kitleyi değiştirdim” dedi.

Aylin Karaman stated that it was more important to understand the fables of La Fontaine in today’s society, and she realized that the fables which were translated by famous Turkish poet Orhan Veli were a bit difficult for children to comprehend, so she especially expressed this in her book. Karaman said, “La Fontaine dedicated his work to family line, between the ages of 6-16, of succession to the throne which gave the impression that he wrote his fables for children. La Fontaine gave human qualities to animals, where he criticizes them and gives morals. It is very important for youth to understand these morals in terms of shaping our future. Therefore, I changed the target group.”
