The last words Jesus sent to John were incredibly significant: "Blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me" (Matthew 11:6). Christ was telling this godly servant, "Don't be offended at me, John. You know I only do what I see and hear from the father. He has a plan in all this, and he is worthy to be trusted. If he wanted me to come and release you, you know I would be there in a moment. You can rest assured that whatever comes of this, it will be to his glory. And it will mean eternal glory for you!

Tetap yakinlah bahwa apa pun yang terjadi, semuanya ini adalah demi kemuliaan-Nya. Dan ini juga berarti kemuliaan yang kekal bagimu!

Ostatnie słowa, jakie Jezus przekazał Janowi były niezwykle istotne: “Błogosławiony jest ten, kto się mną nie zgorszy” (Mt 11,6). Chrystus mówił temu pobożnemu słudze: “Nie gorsz się Mną, Janie. Wiesz, że robię tylko to, co widzę i słyszę u Ojca. On ma w tym wszystkim plan i jest godzien, by Mu ufać. Gdyby tylko chciał, abym przyszedł i uwolnił cię, to przecież wiesz, że byłbym tam w ciągu jednej chwili. Możesz być pewien, iż cokolwiek z tego wyniknie, będzie to na Jego chwałę, a to z kolei oznaczać będzie wieczną chwałę dla ciebie!
