Ya lo tengo todo preparado. Colgaré del techo de la tienda la tapa de la olla de cocinar, y con un palo de repuesto de la tienda yo mismo picaré las campanadas una a una mientras me como las uvas de la suerte.

By the way: ¡Do not think I'm not having bells, eh! I've got it all planned. I'll hang from the tent ceiling the cover of a cooking pan, and a stick, and I'll do the ringing, one after the other whilst eating the lucky grapes. Actually, instead of grapes I will be using 12 roasted hazelnuts. Honestly, I have been looking to find grapes around here, and I have spent more than 1.000 Km. during 62 days to see if I can get the bloody grapes, but they keep telling me everywhere that they do not have, and that the crop in Antarctica this year hasn't been good.

Penjaré del sostre de la tenda la tapa de l'olla de cuinar, i amb un pal de recanvi de la tenda jo mateix picaré les campanades una a una mentre em menjo els raïms de la sort. En realitat, en comptes de raïm, utilitzaré 12 avellanes torrades; i no serà perquè no hagi buscat raïm per aquí. Porto voltant més de 1.000 Km. durant 62 dies per veure si puc comprar el punyetero raïm, però a tot arreu em diuen que no en tenen, i que la collita de raïm a l'Antàrtida no ha estat massa bona aquest any.
