Etwas in der Leere hörte diesen Ruf widerhallen und folgte ihm nach Runeterra. Ein verdorbenes Wesen kroch über eine Schwelle, die es nicht verstand, und weitete somit einen Riss zwischen Welten, die sich nie hätten berühren sollen.

When the prophet Malzahar was reborn in Icathia, he was led there by an ominous voice which thereafter anchored itself to his psyche. From within, this voice bestowed upon him terrible purpose, and though Malzahar was no longer tormented by its call, the voice did not cease its unrelenting summons. This baleful beacon's gentle flicker - now fastened to Runeterra - drew forth a putrid beast that ambled across a threshold it did not understand, widening a fissure between the spaces which were never meant to meet. There amongst the haunting ruins of Icathia, Kog'Maw manifested in Valoran with unsettling curiosity. The spark which led him to Runeterra teased him still, urging him gently towards Malzahar. It also encouraged him to familiarize himself with his new environment, to the stark horror of everything he encountered on his journey.

Lorsque le prophète Malzahar a repris vie à Icathia, il y avait été guidé par une voix pénétrante qui resta ancrée dans son esprit. Tapie dans son subconscient, la voix lui intima sa terrible mission et si Malzahar n'était plus tourmenté par cet appel, elle ne relâcha jamais ses invocations incessantes. La simple flammèche de cette balise, désormais liée à Runeterra, attira à elle une bête putride qui traversa un seuil qu'elle ne comprenait pas, élargissant une fissure entre des plans qui n'auraient jamais dû entrer en contact. C'est dans les ruines hantées d'Icathia que Kog'Maw et son insatiable curiosité firent leur apparition à Valoran. L'étincelle qui l'avait guidé jusqu'à Runeterra ne cessait pourtant pas de l'attiser, le poussant sans cesse à rejoindre Malzahar. Elle l'encourageait également à se familiariser avec son nouvel environnement, pour la plus grande horreur de tous ceux qu'il allait rencontrer au cours de son périple.

Cuando el profeta Malzahar renació en Icathia, había sido conducido allí por una voz ominosa que se aferró a su psique desde entonces. En su interior, la voz le confirió su terrible propósito y, aunque su llamada ya no atormentaba a Malzahar, no cesaba de hacer peticiones. El parpadeo sutil de ese faro funesto, anclado ahora en Runaterra, atrajo a una bestia pútrida que cruzó un umbral incomprensible para ella, ensanchando la fisura existente entre dos espacios que nunca debieron encontrarse. Allí, entre las inquietantes ruinas de Icathia, Kog'Maw se presentó en Valoran presa de una curiosidad perturbadora. La chispa que lo había llevado a Runaterra aún le seducía, atrayéndolo más y más hacia Malzahar. Además, lo animaba a familiarizarse con su nuevo entorno, pese a aterrorizar a todos los que se cruzaban con él.

Quando il profeta Malzahar rinacque a Icathia, fu chiamato da una voce sinistra, che rimase per sempre nella sua psiche. Dal suo profondo, la voce lo chiamava al suo terribile scopo, e nonostante Malzahar non ne fosse più tormentato, le parole non smisero mai di guidarlo. Questo potere malvagio, ora legato a Runeterra, diede vita a una bestia putrida, a cavallo di un confine che lei stessa non può capire, allargando la frattura tra due spazi che non si sarebbero mai dovuti incontrare. Dalle rovine di Icathia, Kog'Maw si manifestò a Valoran con la sua inquietante curiosità. La scintilla che lo aveva chiamato a Runeterra gli impose di recarsi da Malzahar. Lo incoraggiò ad adattarsi al nuovo ambiente, agli orrori di tutto ciò che aveva incontrato lungo il suo viaggio.
