Osnovna nakana projekta je da se, pored postavljanja cirkuskog šatora kao neovisnog edukcijskog, kreativnog i izvedbenog prostora, poduče lokalne cirkuske organizacije i umjetnici po pitanju funkcioniranja, kreiranja i održivosti kako “putujućeg” performansa, tako i cirkuskog šatora, te uspostavi kontakt s lokalnom publikom i cirkuskim umjetnicima/ama u Regiji kroz predstave, program “Open Stage” i radionice. Protekle dvije godine Cirkobalkana je dva puta boravila u Beogradu,i jednom u Zagrebu i u Puli.

The main intention of the project is that, in addition to setting up a circus tent as educational independent, creative and performance space, to teach circus local organizations and artists in functioning, creation and sustainability as “traveling” performances, and maintain a circus tent, also make contact with the local audience and circus artists in the region through the performance, the program “Open Stage” and workshops. The past two years Cirkobalkana twice visited Belgrade, and once in Zagreb and Pula. In the two years the project was visited by around 7000 visitors , 600 trainees / workshop participants and about 60 artists from France, Serbia, Croatian, Germany, USA, Italy, Greece, Spain, United Kingdom …
