Der Film lebt von der Offenheit für Augenblickliches: dieser Hund, dieser Rabe, diese Kinder, diese Braut, diese Karre mit wild rauchendem Auspuff, aber auch der Wind, der Regen, die Farben des anbrechenden Tags, die Streiflichter der Nacht. Der Film nimmt sich zurück, wenn er schwarzweiss wird, wenn der Text zur Meditation wird und die Musik den Mäandern der Erzählung nostalgische Noten verleiht.

ET MAINTENANT? Is it to suggest this desire to pinpoint, at the heart of the journey, the fullness of the moments that lend meaning to the passing of time? The motorway and its service stations are the metaphor of this inexorable passing of time in which the aim is to gain a foothold. The film assembles heterogeneous fragments which it pieces together to compose through associations and hiatuses a narrative held together by the guiding threads of the beautiful texts written and read by Océane Madeleine. It is driven by the readiness to see in the raw this dog, this crow, these children, this bride, this fumespewing car, but also the wind, rain, the tones of the dawning day, the flashes of neon in the night. The film can also stand back from its theme, when colour gives way to black and white, when the text meditates to itself and the music leaves a nostalgic imprint on the meanders of the narrative. LUCIE ET MAINTENANT invites us to make an incredibly journey that is poetic and imaginary at the same time. Inspired by these luminous “present moments”, the travellers discover that there is “forever another day” to take on the world between joy and sadness.

ET MAITNENANT? Pour suggérer cette volonté de cerner au coeur du voyage la plénitude des moments qui donnent sens au temps qui passe? L’autoroute et ses stations sont la métaphore de cet écoulement inexorable du temps dans lequel il s’agit de prendre pied. Le film assemble des fragments hétérogènes qu’il rapièce pour composer par associations et ruptures un récit soutenu par les fils rouges des beaux textes rédigés et lus pas Océane Madeleine. Il vit de cette disponibilité à voir sur le vif ce chien, ce corbeau, ces enfants, cette mariée, cette bagnole aux gaz d’échappement intempestifs, mais aussi le vent, la pluie, les teintes du jour naissant, les éclats de néon dans la nuit. Le film sait aussi prendre du recul, quand la couleur passe au noir et blanc, que le texte se fait méditation et que la musique imprime des accents nostalgiques aux méandres du récit. LUCIE ET MAINTENANT invite à un parcours tout à la fois incroyablement réel, mais aussi poétique et imaginaire. Inspirés par ces ‘maintenant’ lumineux, les voyageurs découvrent qu’il «y a sans cesse un autre jour» qui se dispute le monde entre joie et tristesse.
