Alata eğitim gezisi süresince katılımcılar, tarımdaki en yeni teknolojilerle tanışma ve tarımsal üretim üzerine değişik faaliyetleri kapsayan (örneğin; gübreleme ve sulama teknikleri, sera tasarımı, fide ekimi, tarımsal üretimin depolanması ve arıcılık gibi) seminerlere katılma imkanı bulmuşlardır.

The purpose of organizing a study tour in an agricultural research station was to enable participants to understand what is being implemented in the field of agricultural research and familiarize them with some practices on site. During the Alata study tour, the participants had the chance to get acquainted with the most recent technologies in agriculture, attend seminars on various activities on agricultural production; such as fertilization and irrigation techniques, design of green houses, cultivation of seedlings, storing agricultural produce and beekeeping, etc. They also found the opportunity to visit modern agricultural facilities (two companies involved in milk processing and fruit-vegetable packaging) and observe on site many of the practices explained in the seminars.
