Лииз Кермани (1960, Мичиган, Индиана, США) – композитор, лингвоартист, медиа-художник. Обучалась по классу композиции в DePauw University (ВА, Гринкастл, 1983). Elise Kermani (1960, Michigan City, Indiana, USA) Ц composer, lingua-artist, media-artist. Studied Composition at the DePauw University (¬ј, Greencastle, 1983). Later she took a course of Interdisciplinary Arts Studies at the Columbia College (ћј, Chicago, 1986), at the same time studying basics of Electronic Musical Composition at the Roosevelt University (1983) and California State University Northridge (1985) and Literature at the University of California (Los Angeles, 1986). She is the founder and art director of the MiShinnah Productions (since 1985) Ц a project that involves production of various experimental audio and video products (at her own recording studio Ishtar Records), releasing and producing of theatrical performances. She is the author of a number of compositions in the area of vocal and improvisational technique, and lingiua-art, including the following ones: Shoulder Blades (Manifestation II, Aweful Records, 1991), Spiral (The Aerial Sound Journal #4, Santa Fe: Nonsequitor Foundation, 1991), PriscillaТs Call (Ishtar CD 001, 1993), Anonymous Love Song (Ishtar CD 002, 1996), TROUSERS (Celler CD, 1997), DREADmonad (Ishtar CD 101, 1997), Elor and Wrap it Up (Musing 4.0, Ishtar CD 201, 1999), Solos for Air (Ishtar CD 301, 1999), Asian Bad Reign (Pakistani Space Mission Project, Snowdonia Ed., 1999) and others, and also of the vocal-improvisational productions: Osculation (jointly with D. Malone, Heuristic Musings, 1992), Verge (jointly with D. Malone, Heuristic Musings, 1996) and 4x4 (for the radio series Sounds of Chicago, Experimental Sound Studio, 1990). Kermani is actively collaborating with representatives of related artistic trends, composing music for the theatre, choreographic performances and TV.
