Director Gagik Ghazare is convinced that Armenian film making exists thanks to those who are in love with it. It still needs to be established and developed, since the challenges and hard experience of the past years had considerable impact on development of the Armenian cinematography. In his documentary Dialogues, which is included in the Armenian Panorama National Competition of the 7th GOLDEN APRICOT, Gagik Ghazare presents the past hard experience of the Armenian society by means of human emotions. The film is a documentary essay about the need for and the lack of dialogue between the fatherland and an individual. “Thanks to GOLDEN APRICOT, we are able to present our films in our home country, said Gagik Ghazare. We would also be happy if we could produce and present our films to the Armenian spectator not only within the framework of GOLDEN APRICOT Festival, that is, our film art is developed only within the framework of the festival.
