30 million is the lowest inflation. It is lower than expected. So, we have 30 million dollars from the lowest inflation, which means that the expected price increase has not occurred. Although everybody complains about increased prices, no such increase has occurred. This has been good for consumers, but actually it is lacking in the budget.

Mr. Edmond Panariti: Through an absurd act, consumed by a meaningless veto by the opposition, the recommendation for granting the status was turned from the Albanian politics into a non-fulfillment. This was achieved by blocking the adoption of two laws and one regulation, as part of the obligations to be completed upon the recommendation of the European Commission. What makes this act of adopting the two laws and the regulation incomprehensible is that the two parties had nothing against the substance of these laws and had even reached full consensus in the process of discussion and preliminary approval for them at the parliamentary committees. Thus, there was no reason for these laws not to be approved by the three-fifths of the votes in the Assembly, as it happened in June with the law on the Electoral Code and the law on the limitation of immunity for senior officials and judges. But unfortunately the reason was found in non-reasoning, as a pretext for blocking the process. Its unblocking depends purely on the political will. Voting the three laws as soon as possible would enable Albania to obtain the candidate status in spring, before the general parliamentary elections.
