Dr. Shaath also addressed incentive and exemptions provided by the government to agro-industrial areas and free zones, among them decreasing tax rates and customs, providing the proper infrastructure from facilities, roads and basic services by simplifying procedures, such as the entry and exit of goods, registration processes, etc., all of which will encourage both local and foreign investors to seek investment opportunities in these areas.

كما تحدث شعث عن الحوافز والاعفاءات التي تقدمها الدولة للمناطق الصناعية الزراعية والمناطق الحرة، من بينها تخفيض الضرائب والرسون الجمركية وتوفير البيئة التحتية من مرافق وطرق وخدمات اساسية مع تبسيط الاجراءات المتبعة فيها سواء من إدخال أو إخراج البضائع والتسجيل وغيرها من الاجراءات المستخدمة فيها، الأمر الذي يجعل المستثمر المحلي والأجنبي سباقاً بالبحث عن الاستثمار في تلك المناطق. واستعرض شعث مساحة المنطقة الصناعية الزراعية الحرة في أريحا، قائلاً بأن مساحتها تبلغ حوالي 615 ألف متر مربع، يعمل فيها حتى الآن أربعة مصانع، كما يجري العمل على تجهيز 7 أخرى للعمل قريباً، وأضاف بأنه قد جرى توقيع 42 عقداً مع مستثمرين في المرحلة الاولى لتغطي 140 ألف متر وهو ما يمثل 85% من المساحات المتاحة للتأجير.

His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi said: “I am happy to announce the new measures and procedures set in place by the Department of Economic Development which aims to encourage Saudi investors to establish industrial projects in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. These measures include maximum facilitation and exemptions from processes listed as part of the Trade initiative and Industry Pioneers initiative— mainly exemption from lease contracts. Abu Dhabi Ports will provide the Saudi investor with several investment incentives in KIZAD, including discounts on rent of warehouses, industrial land, offices and work stations.”

وقال معالي سيف محمد الهاجري رئيس دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية أبوظبي خلال كلمة افتتاح الملتقى: "يطيب لي أن أعلن عن اتخاذ دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية في أبوظبي جملة من التدابير والاجراءات الهادفة إلى تمكين المستثمر السعودي الذي يرغب في إقامة مشاريع استثمارية في إمارة أبوظبي. ومن هذه الإجراءات شمول المستثمر السعودي بكافة التسهيلات والاعفاءات التي تتضمنها مبادرة تاجر أبوظبي ومبادرة رواد الصناعة ومن أهمها إلغاء شرط عقد الايجار. كما تم إعفاء المستثمر السعودي من رسوم اشتراكات غرفة أبوظبي، وتم توفير 100 ألف متر مربع للمستثمرين السعوديين لفترة سماح إيجاريه مدتها ثلاث سنوات للأراضي التابعة للمؤسسة العليا للمناطق الاقتصادية المتخصصة والتي يقيم فيها المستثمر السعودي مشروعه. وتقدم موانئ أبوظبي للمستثمر السعودي عدة حوافز استثمارية في مدينة خليفة الصناعية - كيزاد، بما في ذلك من قيمة إيجار المخازن والاراضي الصناعية والمكاتب ومحطات العمل."
