15. الحماية من الإستغلال الاقتصادي والجنسي ومن الإيذاء الجسدي والنفسي والمعاملة المهينة سواء من العاملين أو المرضى الآخرين. ويشمل الاستغلال الاقتصادي عمل المريض بدون أجر عادل أو قهراً، أو ألا أن يكون ذلك العمل ضمن الخطة العلاجية التأهيلية للمريض. وفي حالة عمل المريض داخل المنشأة يجب أن يكون هذا بناءاً على عقد قانوني، توضع صورة منه في ملف المريض والأخرى بلجنة رعاية حقوق المريض النفسي. وذلك مع مراعاة سلامة المريض والآخرين وقواعد السلامة المهنية.
