 Paul Kemanzi ,a writer in the Kenyan paper said: “It is a shame that help should come from a desert country such as Egypt that uses the Nile waters the source of which is lake Victoria, which falls between Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.” (It is a shame that Arab rulers would not read about this shame this Kenyan journalist like his Prime Minister wrote and talked about…!!!)

In addition, I would also like to bring to your attention the UN Global Compact Week which took place from 16-20 May 2011 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event convened practitioners who are engaged in the initiative’s working groups, issue platforms and Local Networks and featured the Global Compact Annual Meeting, the Annual Local Network Forum and a variety of issue-specific meetings. This global gathering of the most active companies and organizations was designed for working-level representatives to share experiences across issues and countries.
