وتعليقاً على اختيار أوربيتال ساينس واريان سبيس كشركاء لإطلاق القمر الصناعي الياه 3، قال سعادة جاسم محمد بو عتابه الزعابي، رئيس مجلس إدارة الياه سات: "بعد عملية اختيار دقيقة قررت "الياه سات" العمل مع شركتين رائدتين في مجال الفضاء لتصنيع وإطلاق القمر الصناعي الثالث (الياه 3)، وذلك في الربع الأخير من العام 2016. علماً أنه سبق لنا العمل مع "اريان سبيس" لإطلاق القمر الصناعي الأول (Y1A)، وهو أحد الأقمار الصناعية الأكثر تقدماً في العالم، والذي يعمل حالياً في مداره. كذلك عملنا سابقاً مع مؤسسة "أوربيتال ساينس" التي تتمتع بسجل حافل، حيث بلغ عدد الأقمار الصناعية التي صنعتها أكثر من 150 قمراً صناعياً وتعادل ألف عام من الخبرة في المدارات الفضائية. وقد أثبتت الشركتان قدراً كبيراً من التعاون وأعلى درجات الكفاءة وامتلاك القدرات الفنية لتوفير خدمات الاتصال ذات المستوى العالمي إلى كلٍ من البرازيل والقارة الإفريقية"
