يُعد علم التشريح بكافة فروعه أحد اهم العلوم الطبية الأساسية لطالب كلية الطب البشري والكليات المماثلة. لذا كان على عاتق القسم منذ نشأته القيام بالمهام التعليمية لمقررات علم التشريح لطلبة وطالبات كلية الطب البشري بالإضافة الى كليات طب الاسنان والصيدلة والعلوم الطبية التطبيقية والتمريض. وقد قام القسم بتنسيق برنامجي الماجستير والدكتوراه في التشريح ايمانا برسالته في اعداد أجيال جديدة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس المتخصصين في علم التشريح. كما يشارك القسم في تدريس مقررات الدراسات العليا الخاصة بالأقسام الإكلينيكية مثل: برنامج التدريب في النساء والولادة وبرنامج شهادة الاختصاص السعودي في جراحة الوجه والفكين وماجستير طب وجراحة الاسنان والجدير بالذكر ان قسم التشريح مزود بكافة التجهيزات الحديثة الخاصة بأداء العملية التعليمية والبحثية على الوجه الاكمل. ويوجد بقسم التشريح متحف تم تحديثه مؤخراً لعلم التشريح والاجنة والذي يُعد بما فيه من تجهيزات وامكانيات من أرقي المتاحف على مستوى كليات الطب في العالم. كما توجد أربع قاعات لتشريح جسم الانسان ايمانا من قسم التشريح بكلية الطب البشري بجامعة الملك سعود بأفضلية استخدام العينات البشرية في التعليم عن المجسمات البلاستيكية المستخدمة بكليات الطب الأخرى. وفي المجال البحثي فان انشاء وحدتين احداهما خاصة بالخلايا الجذعية والأخرى خاصة بأمراض المخ والاعصاب يمثل طفرة في مجال البحث العلمي التخصصي بالقسم مما يدعم الترابط بين العلوم الطبية الأساسية وتطبيقاتها الاكلينيكية. وأخيرا يطيب لي أن أشير إلى أن أعضاء قسم التشريح هم نخبة فاضلة تم اختيارها بدقة من بلاد وجنسيات مختلفة لتكمل المنظومة العملية التعليمية بالقسم. والله نسأل ان يوفقنا ويسدد خطانا على تأدية رسالتنا التعليمية على الوجه الاكمل الذي يرضيه عنا

However, confusion over the nature of translation and for that matter the productiveness and counter-productiveness of the Western feminist translation theory and practice results in questioning the fundamental function of translation. This paper intends to identify some of the problems that arise from embracing the Western phenomenon and point out the disservice this gendered discourse inadvertently does.
