يهدف هذا البرنامج إلى تأهيل كوادر متخصصة في العلاج الوظيفي من خلال منهج يتسم بالتميز بتطبيقيه مناهج محفزة على التفكير النقدي وأساليب تعليمية للممارسات الصحية المبنية على البراهين. المختص في العلاج الوظيفي يعنى بذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ويعمل على تأهيلهم بالمهارات والقدرات التي تساعدهم على التكيف السلوكي أو الوظيفي. مدة البرنامج أربع سنوات يدرس فيها الطالب مقررات تشمل العلوم الطبية الأساسية علم النفس، تقييم المرضى، تقنيات إعادة التأهيل، بيئة العمل، الإرشاد الوظيفي، التعليم والتوعية الصحية، أخلاقيات الرعاية الصحية ومعاييرها.
