لقد قررت اللجنة إغلاق مكاتبها حتى إشعارٍ آخر ويرجع ذلك إلى توافد مئات الأشخاص إلى مكتبها بالأمس في حالة من الغضب وقد اعتقد بعضهم أن رئيس اللجنة قد أنهى نتائج التحقيق، بالإضافة إلى ما تم نشره وتداوله من قبل النشطاء على تويتر ومن خلال الرسائل النصية التي دعت الطلاب والموظفين المفصولين للتوجه إلى المكتب لتقديم إفاداتهم، وبعد محاولة لاستيعاب الحشد من خلال تقديمهم المعلومات الخاصة بهم إلا إن بعض الحشود لم تهدأ و تعرضوا لموظفي اللجنه بالإعتداء اللفظي والجسدي كما إنهال بعضهم على الموظفين بالشتائم و التهديد وإلصاق بعض اللافتات المُسيئة على جدران المكاتب، أو عن طريق البريد الإلكتروني، فضلاً عن البصق على أعضاء اللجنة ودفعهم بالأيدي في حين واصل بعض الأفراد إلتقاط الصور والفيديو لمكتب اللجنة على الرغم من نصيحة الموظفون أن هذه الأفعال قد تهدد سرية وسلامة وأمن الشهود والضحايا المدونة أسماءهم في ذات الوقت الذي كان الموظفين يجرون فيه تحقيقاتهم، وعلى الرغم من كل هذا كان قرار اللجنة هو استمرار التعامل مع المراجعين ومحاولة تهدئتهم دون الاستعانة بالجهات الأمنية التي كانت تتابع الموقف عن كثب خشية تطوره، إلا أن المحققين – وبعد تعرضهم للإعتداء اللفظي والجسدي والبصق عليهم- إستمروا في قبول الإفادات حتى انصرف الحشد، وهم حالياً ما زالوا يتلقون الافادات والشكاوى التي تقدم لهم عن طريق البريد الإلكتروني.
