واستعرضت مي سهيل في جلسات المناقشة في اليوم الأول ثلاثة فصول: الأول بعنوان: «البداية» مَن؟ أين؟ متى؟. الثاني ويضم «المتن»: ما الذي حدث؟ وكيف حدث؟. والفصل الثالث النهاية: كيف انتهى الحدث؟ كما قدمت الكاتبة مي عدة نماذج قصصية قصيرة من الأدب العالمي والعربي من أعمال كتاب مثل تشيخوف من (روسيا) أنا ماريا شوا من (الأرجنتين) أوغوستو مونتيروسو من (غواتيمالا) كما ركزت الكاتبة مي على أهمية استعادة الشخص لذاكرة الطفولة وإعادة البحث بما احتفظت به، سواء كانت مناظر من الطبيعة أو المكان وما يوحي به، إضافة إلى القصص الخيالية والأشياء التي يمر بها الشخص. وقدمت بعض النماذج المؤلفة من كلمة واحدة وما يمكن أن يبني عليها القاص عمله من خلال خياله، مشيرة إلى أن الكتابة تعتمد على الخيال، ويمكن أن يبدأ من صورة تعبيرية واحدة، ثم يبنى عليها قصة أو حكاية متجانسة لها شروط الحبكة والتكامل الإبداعي .

وقد اجتمع السيد/ مشعل مساعد العصيمي – نائب رئيس مجلس مفوضي الهيئة، برئيس مجلس إدارة المنظمة و رئيس مفوضي الأوراق المالية والعقود الآجلة في هونج كونج السيد/ أشلي أدلر ، لشكره على دعمه وتأييده انضمام الهيئة لمنظمة الأيسكو، و أكد السيد أدلر بأنه يتطلع لرؤية الكويت في دور فعال في أنشطة المنظمة من خلال المشاركة في اللجان العاملة و الإقليمية كـ لجنة AMERC و لجنة GEMC، بالإضافة الى بعض اللجان الفنية ، وتطرق الاجتماع الى أنظمة ما بعد التداول حيث إن الهيئة تتجه إلى حسم المرحلة الأولى من تطبيق الانتقال من T+2 الى T+3 في 21 مايو 2017، واقترح السيد أشلي تبادل الخبرات بين الكويت و هونج كونج خاصة في مجال تطبيق نظام المقاصة المركزية أو ما يسمى بـCCP، والذي تمتلك هونج كونج خبرة عريقة فيه، وقد رحب السيد مشعل العصيمي بتبادل الخبرات بين البلدين في عدة مواضيع منها ما تم تعديله في هونج كونج لتحسين التعامل مع متطلبات المنظمة، وما تم إنجازه لتطوير نظام ما بعد التداول، و اختتم الاجتماع بتسليم السيد مشعل العصيمي درع تذكاري للسيد اشلي أدلر تعبيراً عن شكر الهيئة لدوره الفعال فيما يخص عضوية دولة الكويت.
