تخصص نصف ساعة أثناء دورة الفريق العامل لاعتماد كل تقرير من "تقارير النتائج" بشأن الدول المستعرضة في الدورة. ويتم ذلك بما لا يتجاوز 48 ساعة من انتهاء استعراض البلد المعني. ويتاح للدولة المستعرضة فرصة لتقديم تعليقات أولية على التوصيات مع حقها في اختيار قبولها أو رفضها. وتدرج كل من التوصيات المقبولة والمرفوضة في التقرير. وبعد اعتماد التقرير، يمكن للدول أن تدخل تحسينات في الصياغة على بياناتها خلال الأسبوعين التاليين. ويتعين اعتماد التقرير بعد ذلك في الجلسة العامة لمجلس حقوق الإنسان. ويحق للدولة قيد الاستعراض أن ترد خلال تلك الجلسة العامة على الأسئلة والقضايا التي لم تعالج بما فيه الكفاية أثناء الفريق العامل وأن ترد على التوصيات التي طرحتها الدول أثناء الاستعراض. كما يخصص وقت للدول الأعضاء والمراقبة التي قد ترغب في الإعراب عن رأيها بشأن نتائج الاستعراض وللمنظمات غير الحكومية وأصحاب المصلحة الآخرين للإدلاء بتعليقات عامة.
