Այս կապակցությամբ, ապրիլի 19-ին` «Լռության օրվա» նախօրեին, «Հանրային տեղեկատվություն և գիտելիքի կարիք» հասարակական կազմակերպության կողմից կազմակերպված մամլո ասուլիսի ժամանակ կազմակերպության ղեկավար Մամիկոն Հովսեփյանը նշեց, որ. «Նման վերաբերմունքի աշակերտներն ու ուսանողներն արժանանում են թե´ իրենց համադասարանցիների և համակուրսեցիների, թե´ դասավանդողների և հաստատության այլ աշխատակիցների կողմից: Եվ չնայած այն հանգամանքին, որ նման երևույթների ականատես է եղել մեզանից գրեթե յուրաքանչյուրը, ցավով ենք նշում, որ դա մեր հասարակությունում ոչ միայն չի  դիտարկվում որպես հիմնախնդիր, ավելին, այն համարվում է սովորական երևույթ: Հետևաբար ոչ միայն քայլեր չեն մշակվում նման հիմնախնդիրների ուսումնասիրության, այլև դրանց կանխարգելման և հաղթահարման, հանդուրժողականության սերմանման և զարգացման համար»: Ինչպես նաև հավելեց. «Նման դեպքերի մենք շատ ենք ականատես լինում: 17-ամյա երիտասարդ մի տղա իր ողջ ուսման ընթացքում 3 դպրոց է փոխել խտրականության և ծաղրանքների արդյունքում, քանի որ գեր էր և ուներ նուրբ արտաքին: Իսկ համալսարանում սովորող ազգությամբ եզդի աղջկա կողքին հրաժարվում էին նստել կուրսընկերները»:
