“I believe this is possible…You know, there are no problems in relations between Georgia and Armenia. Still, we have a very big problem in relations with Russia. The problems were huge, and unfortunately, they remain so up today. We strongly hope and try to restore and normalize the ties with Russia as soon as possible. The hardest and most challenging issues are those related to Georgia’s territorial integrity... This issue, perhaps, will not be settled soon,” Ivanishvili said adding that the problems can be settled quicker and easier if all parties demonstrate the will to do so.

Երևանում, իհարկե, խոսք է գնացել Աբխազական երկաթգծի միջոցով հաղորդակցությունը վերականգնելու հնարավորության մասին, սակայն…մի շարք խնդիրների լուծումից հետո: «Կարծում եմ, որ դա հնարավոր է…Դուք գիտեք, որ երկու երկրների՝ Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի, հարաբերությունների մեջ խնդիրներ չկան: Սակայն մենք մեծ խնդիրներ ունենք Ռուսաստանի հետ: Խնդիրները շատ մեծ էին, և դրանք, ցավոք, դեռևս գոյություն ունեն: Մենք մեծ հույս ունենք և փորձում ենք վերականգնել և կարգավորել Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունները: Ամենախորը և խնդրահարույց հարցը Վրաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականությանն է վերաբերում… Դա երևի այդքան էլ արագ չի լինի»,-ասել է Իվանիշվիլին, հավելելով, որ խնդիրները կարելի է լուծել ավելի արագ և ավելի շուտ, եթե երկու կողմերն էլ այդ հարցում կամային գտնվեն: Վրացական կողմն այդ առումով պատրաստակամ է:
