Проучването е изпълнено от агенция Алфа Рисърч. Интервюирани са 550 граждани и представители на бизнеса, които се обръщат за услуги към различните звена на 24-те районни администрации на Столична община. Въпреки обществената чувствителност към проблема „корупция“, резултатите показват, че мнозинството от хората не са запознати с нормативната база или с мерките за борба с корупцията в общината. Липсата на прозрачни и ефективни механизми за отговор на подадените от гражданите сигнали и жалби създава усещане на недоверие, че нищо няма да се промени.Като препоръчителни нерепресивни мерки за превенция на корупционни практики, мнозинството от запитаните посочват изработването на цялостна стратегия за борба с корупцията и създаване на процедури за граждански мониторинг.
